July
Hottest month. Humidity rises. Best for couples who love tropical heat. Significant savings.

Peak hurricane risk month. Not recommended for wedding planning unless you have flexible dates and good insurance.

Our hidden gem. Hurricane season winds down. Beautiful sunsets, warm water, great rates. Late October is excellent.
November
The start of the golden season. Perfect weather, stunning light for photography. Extremely popular.
December
Holiday season. Highest prices but magical atmosphere. Whale watching begins. Book very early.
Hurricane Season: What You Really Need to Know
Hurricane season officially runs June 1 through November 30, but the real risk window is much narrower. In 18 years of planning weddings in Cabo, we have experienced only a handful of weather disruptions — and almost all fell in August and September.
The Eastern Pacific hurricane track typically sends storms away from Baja. When Cabo does get storms, there is usually 5–7 days of advance warning. If you are planning during shoulder season (May, June, October), the risk is minimal but we always recommend:
- • Travel insurance with weather coverage (always)
- • Choosing a venue with indoor backup options
- • Working with a local planner who can pivot quickly
Our Personal Recommendation
If budget is flexible: November and April are our two favorite months. The weather is flawless, the light for photography is golden, and the energy in Cabo is vibrant but not overwhelming.
If you are value-conscious: Late October and early June offer the best balance of beautiful weather and reduced pricing. We have produced some of our most stunning weddings in these months.
If you want exclusivity: January and February pair whale-watching season with cooler evenings (ideal for outdoor receptions) and a romantic atmosphere that is hard to match.
