At Cabo Wedding Services, our clients come from near and far, lovebirds from all walks of life dreaming of an epic event in our little paradise south of the border. From Jewish and Christian celebrations to week-long Hindu affairs and traditional Catholic nuptials, we pride ourselves on getting to know our couples, their unique personalities, and their cultural traditions. When Nazanin and Cameron first rang our bell, our excitement was tenfold. They envisioned a modern Persian celebration complete with time-honored traditions, undeniable luxury and clean-cut, classic design. And that is exactly what we gave them!
Our location search led us the right to the Waldorf Astoria, a property renowned for its quiet luxury, impeccable service and prime location in the gated community of Pedregal on the Pacific’s cliffside. Nazanin began her wedding preparations in the comfort of her impressive bridal suite, where her bevy of not one, not two but seven (yes, 7!) bridesmaids were onsite to attend to her every need. With the help of local stylist Rebeca, she opted for makeup au naturale, along with a simple, half up half down do and face-framing waves. Nazanin’s strapless Ines di Santo gown by way of Lovella Bridal showcased a sweetheart neckline, classic silhouette and just the right amount of lace, polished off with a pair of Christian Dior pumps that we just can’t get enough of. It was classic beauty personified, a look that never goes out of style.
After an intimate first look to calm pre-ceremony nerves, it was go time on our Persian ceremony. Culture and tradition are a big part of Nazanin and Cameron’s life, and we worked hard to ensure our chosen vendors were right for the job. In charge of the I dos and our couple’s spectacular sofreh table design was the uber-talented Persian and Iranian wedding specialist Nilou Weddings. Nilou united our couple in matrimony surrounded by an abundance of creamy white blossoms, sparkling chandeliers, and a view to rival the best of National Geographic! Cameron looked every bit the silver screen heartthrob in a tailored black suit and bow tie, and our gaggle of girls was on point in forest green, Grecian inspired gowns. Put simply, careful attention to every detail from attire and custom to decoration and location made this a stunning joining of kindred spirits.
This group was in town to party, and with the formalities out of the way they did just that. The Waldorf Astoria’s wonderful banquet team wined and dined as only they know-how, serving a smorgasbord of bite-sized appetizers, premium spirits and a mouthwatering plated menu derived from perfect pairings, unforgettable flavors and fresh, local produce. Guests dined at tables designed by the creative experts at The Main Event Cabo, a classic aesthetic featuring crisp white linens, romantic florals, and touches of silver. With stomachs full and drinks in hand, guests packed the dance floor and kept on jiving, thanks to a lively mix of tunes from music man DJ Sepand (shout out to Adan Mijares, our lighting and sound expert!). And who was the mastermind behind these stunning images, you ask? That would be renowned photographer Dmitry Shumanev, who is both out of this world creative and technically perfect. Happy viewing!
